Job summary

Island Senior Resources in Langley, WA, seeks a Senior Director of Development & Major Gifts to lead the organization’s major gifts and contributed revenue program. You will engage donors through visits, proposals, solicitations, and stewardship while working closely with the Executive Director and Board to advance strategic fundraising goals.

The role requires a minimum of five years in progressive fundraising, with preferred eight+ years and senior leadership experience; CFRE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressive fundraising experience, including major gifts.
• Eight+ years of fundraising with at least three years in senior development roles preferred.
• Experience supervising development staff; CFRE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Island Senior Resources' comprehensive contributed revenue program.
• Engage donors through visits, proposals, solicitations, and stewardship.
• Partner with Executive Director, Board and leadership across ISR for donor cultivation and strategic asks.
• Supervise and coach development staff and collaborate with communications, finance and program teams.
