Job summary

The National Museum of Women in the Arts seeks a Development Assistant, Contribution Processing and Data Analytics to support the Manager of Development Data and Reporting. You will handle gift entry, refunds, pledge tracking, and data imports for the finance system.

This hybrid role requires an undergraduate degree and CRM experience (Tessitura preferred). You will generate reports and dashboards, maintain data hygiene, support direct mail campaigns, and assist with annual data projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with databases and CRMs, especially Tessitura.
• Previous fundraising office experience preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Process and import contributions from online, in-house, caging company, and wire/stock transfer.
• Ensure contribution coding aligns with current fundraising campaigns.
• Support finance with import files for financial CRM and monthly gift reconciliations.
• Manage autorenewal program including credit card charges and data hygiene.
• Assign soft credits for DAF payments, gift memberships, and tributes.
• Generate fundraising reports and dashboards for Development and Board.
• Assist with database hygiene including data checks and deduping.
• Review data for Direct Marketing campaigns and in-house list pulls.
• Assist Manager with regular database audits and documentation.
