Job summary

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is seeking a Development Administrator to support the Development Department, including the Chief Development & Strategy Officer, Annual Giving, and donor communications. The position requires a detail-oriented, team-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities and work evenings or weekends for events as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills for donors and partners.
• Effective communication with donors, board, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with donor databases/CRM; Tessitura preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; adapt as needed.
• Availability for occasional evenings/weekends during events.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word; Tessitura is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Chief Development & Strategy Officer with scheduling, materials, and meetings.
• Assist Annual Giving with mailings, lists, campaigns, and acknowledgments.
• Provide administrative support for institutional giving, grants, and reports.
• Coordinate Gala Auction Committee meetings and related communications.
• Offer on-site support for Development events, including evenings and weekends.
• Serve as a professional contact for donors, board members, and Development staff.
