Job summary

Milwaukee Repertory Theater is seeking a Development Administrator to support the Development Department's day-to-day operations, reporting to the Director of Annual Giving. The role ensures efficient donor services, communications, and event coordination for a busy regional theater.

The position emphasizes organization, discretion, and collaboration, with duties spanning donor communications, mailings, grant support, and gala/event activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading for donor communications.
• Clear, professional communication with donors, boards, and partners.
• Strong organization and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with donor databases; Tessitura experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Evening/weekend availability for development events.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling and calendar coordination for the Development team.
• Draft, format, and track donor communications.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and reports.
• Assist with donor research and administrative projects.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and organizational information.
• Coordinate annual giving mailings and donor lists.
• Track annual giving campaigns and related communications.
• Provide on-site support for development events as needed.
• Serve as a welcoming, professional contact for donors and partners.
