Job summary

The Warren Center in Richardson, TX is seeking a Development Coordinator to support the Development team through volunteer management, donor relations, marketing and communications support, and events coordination. This role represents the organization in the community and helps raise awareness of our mission.

You will coordinate volunteers, manage donors, assist with fundraising events, support marketing efforts, and collaborate with staff to ensure timely proposals, reports, and communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum years in an advancement or development office.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships with key stakeholders and donors.
  • Knowledge of Bloomerang or similar donor database and prospect research tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage volunteer engagement efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication, and stewardship of groups.
  • Manage a portfolio of annual giving donors, cultivating relationships and soliciting annual philanthropic support.
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising and friend-raising events with guests and logistics.
  • Represent The Warren Center at community networking events to increase visibility.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners and corporate contacts.
  • Support sponsorship outreach and fulfillment of sponsor benefits.
  • Assist with donor stewardship, acknowledgments, and follow-up communications.
  • Prepare materials for donor meetings and assemble presentations for committees.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and track volunteer engagement metrics.

S UMMARY

The Development Coordinator plays an important role by supporting the Development team through volunteer management, community engagement, donor relations support, marketing and communications assistance, and special events coordination. This role also represents The Warren Center within the community and helps expand awareness of the organization’s mission.

E SSENTIAL D UTIES AND R ESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage volunteer engagement efforts, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication, and stewardship of individual and corporate volunteer groups and serving as the primary point of contact
  • Manage a portfolio of annual giving donors, cultivating relationships, stewarding existing gifts, and soliciting annual philanthropic support
  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising and friend-raising events including managing invitation lists, RSVPs, guest registration, and day-of logistics
  • Represent The Warren Center at community networking events, chamber meetings, and outreach opportunities to increase visibility and build relationships
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community partners, corporate contacts, and local organizations
  • Support sponsorship outreach efforts and assist with fulfillment of sponsor benefits
  • Assist with donor stewardship efforts including preparation of acknowledgement letters and follow-up communications
  • Help prepare materials for donor meetings and assemble presentations for Advancement Committee members and staff
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team
  • Assist in tracking volunteer engagement metrics and community outreach efforts
  • Provide administrative assistance to the fundraising team in order to facilitate meeting proposal and report deadlines and the timely production of correspondence

E DUCATION AND E XPERIENCE

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
  • Preferred: Minimum three (2) years in an advancement or development office
  • Required: Proven track record of managing relationships with key stakeholders and donors
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Bloomerang or similar donor database and prospect research tools
