Job summary

The Warren Center is seeking a part-time Grants Coordinator to support our grants program in Richardson, TX. You will manage timelines, coordinate proposals, gather documentation, and help prepare reports.

Qualifications

  • Maintain the annual grants calendar and monitor proposal, report, and stewardship deadlines.
  • Coordinate grant application materials including narratives, budgets, financials, and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as liaison between internal staff and contract grant writers.
  • Maintain grant records and documentation within Bloomerang and electronic files.
  • Track submissions, awards, declines, reporting requirements, and outcomes.
  • Research prospective foundation and corporate funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal review and approval of grant applications.
  • Compile program outcomes and data for grant reports.
  • Work with Finance to obtain budgets, audits, and expenditure reports.
  • Maintain grant templates, narratives, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the Advancement team as assigned.

SUMMARY

The Grants Coordinator provides administrative and project management support for The Warren Center's grants program. This position manages grant timelines, coordinates proposal development, gathers supporting documentation, prepares reports, and ensures all grant deadlines are met. This is a part-time position up to 20hrs per week.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Required: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Required: Minimum two years of nonprofit administration, grants, fundraising, or project coordination experience preferred
  • Preferred: Knowledge of grant administration processes preferred
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft O365
  • Preferred: Experience with Bloomerang or similar CRM preferred
