Job summary

Irish Arts Center is seeking a Development Associate to support the development team and manage the membership program, with scope across research, annual appeals, donor cultivation, and other fundraising activities. Reports to the Director of Development and offers an opportunity to grow into a key fundraising role.

The role emphasizes administrative excellence, collaboration with grant writers, and equity-driven nonprofit work within a fast-paced setting in New York.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of administrative experience in development or nonprofit context preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with donor databases and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain membership revenues across all levels.
• Manage membership benefits and cultivate high-level and prospective members.
• Collaborate with other fundraisers to identify growth opportunities and targets.
• Oversee research and prospecting process; manage a seasonal research intern.
