Job summary

Irish Arts Center in New York is seeking a Development Associate to support the development team with administrative and project management tasks across core fundraising revenue streams. The role includes managing our membership program and growing donor relations, with opportunities to lead research, pipeline development, and annual appeals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of administrative work experience in development or non-profit context.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain membership revenues across all levels.
• Manage membership benefits.
• Cultivate high-level and prospective members.
• Collaborate with other fundraisers to identify growth targets.
• Oversee research and prospecting process.
• Manage a seasonal research intern.
• Support project management of government, corporate, and foundation funding with Grant Writer/Grants Coordinator.
• Oversee annual seasonal appeals (EOY, St. Patrick’s Day, EOFY).
• Provide concierge support for major donors in collaboration with the development team.
• Perform other department-related tasks as needed.
