Job summary

PingWind, Inc. is seeking a motivated Software Developer to design, develop, and implement modern web applications. In this role, you will perform systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation for complex applications.

You will be a core member of an Agile team, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle with a focus on building high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. PingWind aims to deliver robust, cloud-enabled software for federal government needs,

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in agile development with Azure DevOps or Jira with Git repositories.
• Active Secret clearance and relevant certifications preferred.
• Experience developing web and cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack development using Java/Spring Boot for backend and Angular for frontend.
• Build responsive UI using HTML5/CSS and Angular templates.
• Develop and deploy applications in AWS cloud environment.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs for inter-component communication.
• Modernize legacy apps toward cloud-native architectures.
• Test, troubleshoot, and upgrade software in an Agile SAFe/Scrum environment.

Location: Ft. Knox Ky, Full Time Remote

Required Clearance: Active Secret

Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification

Required Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related degree.

Required Experience: Must have 2-4 years of experience. Minimum of two (2) years of agile development with either Azure Dev Ops or Jira with Git repositories, building and supporting Web and Cloud based applications. Army HRC ASBS or companion systems experience is a plus.

PingWind is seeking a motivated Software Developer to help design, develop, and implement modern web applications. In this role, you will perform systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation for complex applications. You will be a core member of an Agile team, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle with a focus on building high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain robust applications using Java/Spring Boot for backend services and Angular for the frontend
• UI/UX Implementation: Build responsive and appealing front-end interfaces using UI templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular
• Cloud Integration: Develop and deploy applications in a cloud environment, utilizing AWS services
• API Development: Write and consume effective RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between system components
• System Modernization: Contribute to efforts to translate legacy applications into modern, cloud-native architectures
• Quality Assurance: Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency, and collaborate on troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading applications
• Agile Collaboration: Be an active participant in the Agile development process (SAFe, Scrum, etc.), working with team

members to enhance existing software and deliver new features.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Proficiency in front-end development with Angular, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience with Node.js for backend services or build tooling
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably in an AWS environment
• Experience with Agile development processes (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• Experienced with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience writing SQL for a major database (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with API design and documentation (e.g., JSON, OpenAPI)
• Familiarity with source control tools like Git
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and remediation

Salary Range

$76k-$106K
