Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Development Lead in Huntsville, AL to provide technical leadership for PAE Fires software across design, development, testing, deployment, sustainment, and modernization. The role focuses on secure government applications, GOTS/MOTS/COTS solutions, and maintaining availability and security in controlled environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Senior software engineering experience covering full lifecycle in secure enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with .NET/C# application development and enterprise web technologies.
• Ability to lead software teams, estimate work, and communicate with Government customers.
• SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and modernization of software applications for PAE Fires in classified and unclassified systems.
• Serve as technical POC for software configuration, installation, support and platform dependencies.
• Direct software and enterprise platform development activities, including code, testing, release planning, and documentation.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to plan releases and resolve dependencies.
• Maintain development, staging, production environments and ensure security controls and RMF alignment.
