Job summary

PingWind, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support a large federal government client. You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, integrate security controls, and automate security within DevOps workflows to deliver secure, scalable government solutions.

The role requires 10 years of DevSecOps experience with 5+ years in cybersecurity and cloud security at a large agency, plus the ability to obtain VA background clearance. Remote work with possible meetings and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of DevSecOps experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity and cloud security at a large government agency.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA background investigation/suitability.
• Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native environments.
• Experience integrating security tools into DevOps pipelines and automating security processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines throughout the software development lifecycle
• Integrate and automate security tools, controls, and testing within DevOps pipelines
• Support containerized and cloud-native environments using secure development and deployment practices
• Perform and support security assessments, vulnerability management, remediation, and incident response activities
• Support source code repositories, Git, version control, and automated build and deployment processes
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, cloud architects, and operations teams to resolve security risks
• Develop and maintain documentation for DevSecOps processes, pipeline configurations, and security integrations

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a large Federal Government client. Apply expertise in software development, cybersecurity, cloud security, and automation to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle. The DevSecOps Engineer will work closely with developers, security engineers, architects, and operations teams to embed security controls into development workflows and help our government client deliver secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions.

• Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native environments


• Experience integrating security tools into DevOps pipelines and automating security processes

Preferred Qualifications

• VA/Federal DevSecOps experience


• Infrastructure-as-Code or security-as-code experience


• Experience with automated security testing and cloud-native security tooling

Salary Range
