Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a capable functional manager to lead an organization of 10-14 engineers within the EMC2 team, delivering capabilities across Guam Defense System Battle Manager Suite and CommandIQ.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the organization's staff is meeting all program and business commitments and to work with the Program Leadership team to drive Program Execution.
• Managing the staffing and resource allocation for EMC2's engineering efforts on GDS BMS and CommandIQ; recruiting and hiring candidates.
• Conducting performance evaluations, promotions, and career planning activities.
• Guiding/mentoring the team on how to conduct business with customers, define processes, and improve with a continuous process improvement mindset.
• Gathering, analyzing, and using software and EVM metrics in waterfall, agile, and hybrid program executions.
• Inserting Digital Transformation initiatives into software development execution (DevSecOps, Software Factory, Agile, AI).
• Experience in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

WHO YOU ARE

As part of the EMC2 Integrated Engineering Leadership Team, the selected candidate will be a functional manager, leading approximately 10-14 direct reports and overseeing multiple projects within the product. The selected candidate will also have a technical role within GDS BMS, CommandIQ, or EMC2.

PAY INFORMATION

Full-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00
