Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks an Engineer Intern to join our team based in King of Prussia, PA. The role focuses on software and systems engineering for Navy programs within the Weapons Platform Integration organization.

The intern will work on a development team supporting design/development, full-stack development, software testing, hardware design/testing, and systems engineering. Pursuing a BS in computer science, computer engineering, or related field; US citizenship

• Pursuing a BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., CS/CE/SE/Systems/Mech).
• Interest in developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures.
• Interest in software and/or systems integration and testing in an integration lab.

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking an Engineer Intern to join our team based out of King of Prussia, PA. This position is in the EMC2 market segment supporting United States Navy programs specializing in software and systems engineering under the Weapons Platform Integration organization.

The candidate will be working on a development team and will be responsible for supporting elements of the design/development effort. The candidate should be a well-rounded engineer with broad interest/experience in full-stack development, software testing, hardware design, hardware testing, and/or systems Engineering.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or related discipline
• Interest in developing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures using systems engineering tools and techniques
• Interest in performing software and/or systems integration and testing of software applications in the integration lab including virtualized environments
• Experience conducting data analysis- Interested in hardware design, size weight and power analysis, and building/assembly
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $22.66 - $31.67

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
