Job summary

Lockheed Martin is hiring a Senior Software Project Manager in Mount Laurel, NJ. The role leads planning, coordination, and execution of complex engineering programs within Rotary and Mission Systems, ensuring design compliance and timely releases.

You will oversee Agile teams, review designs, and coordinate cross-functional activities. A DoD clearance (Secret) is required, with competitive compensation and benefits in a defense technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, or five years' engineering experience in lieu of degree.
• Three or more years' experience leading/managing teams in an Agile environment.
• Three or more years' experience with engineering methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level (US citizenship required).

The Work

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Engineering/Technical field, or in lieu of degree, five years' of engineering experience.

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated project leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead team


• Experience as an Agile Team Lead (Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, etc.)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.


• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
