GEO Secured Services is seeking an Officer to oversee detainees and maintain custody, care, and control in a facility while enforcing company and contracting agency policies. The role requires vigilance and the ability to manage shifts and incidents effectively.

Responsibilities include supervising detainee activities, coordinating movements, conducting counts, handling emergencies, and supporting various posts such as control rooms, health services, and perimeter security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possession of state requisites for employment.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to handle stress and long shifts.
• May need a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees detainees in living, recreation, dining and visitation areas.
• Coordinates detainee movements, conducts counts, and responds to emergencies.
• Provides security in various posts and program activities as assigned by management.
• Supervises labor crews and ensures facility cleanliness; reports maintenance needs.
• Prepares reports and maintains daily logs; ensures prompt assistance for injuries.
