Job summary

Cognito LLC a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture seeks a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support the ICE Health Services Corps at the T. Don Hutto Detention Center in Taylor, TX.

The technician will dispense medications, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with IHSC directives in a civilian contracting setting. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing orders, recording data, and assisting the pharmacist in daily operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Maintains BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications as ordered and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review.
• Maintain inventory, check shortages, and report discrepancies.
• Enter vouchers and patient/workload data into pharmacy systems.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with record keeping and daily operations of the clinic pharmacy.
