Job summary

Cognito LLC, a Resolution Think joint venture, is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) at the Houston Processing Center in Houston, TX. The technician will perform a full range of duties from prescription processing to medication dispensing and patient care under pharmacist supervision.

Responsibilities include managing inventory, using electronic health records, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure safe, compliant medication services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen; current immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties related to preparation and dispensing of medication orders.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and ensure compliance with IHSC policies.
• Maintain accuracy of prescriptions, stock levels, and medication labeling; coordinate with pharmacists for clarifications.
• Use electronic health records and computer systems to document and track workload and inventory.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and reporting discrepancies to a pharmacist.
