Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger endorsement within 90 days of appointment.
• DOT drug/alcohol testing required.
• Preferred training in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military.
• Ability to travel and work overtime.
• Ability to handle stress and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Transport detainees securely between destinations.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and maintained; complete DVIRs.
• Verify permits and licenses before trips; notify supervisor of issues.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time; follow policies.
• Secure detainees prior to departure and during transit.
• Follow all safety regulations and DOT requirements.
• Contact safety authorities in case of accidents; report details.
