Job summary

United Land Services is seeking a Detail Pruning Production Manager to plan, oversee, and optimize detail pruning operations at the Wilmington, NC branch. You will lead field teams, ensure safety, stay on schedule, and manage budget while delivering top-quality pruning results.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills, with a focus on coaching staff, maintaining customer relationships, and leveraging CRM and company software for operations.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience in landscaping, horticulture, tree care, green industry services, or construction.
• Knowledge of pruning techniques, plant health, and landscape maintenance practices preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize CRM and other company software systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, organize, and schedule all detail pruning operations.
• Ensure crews have the equipment, materials, and information necessary to complete assigned work safely and efficiently.
• Monitor job progress to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Directly supervise and support the Detail Pruning Foreman.
• Recruit, train, coach, develop, and evaluate detail pruning team members.
• Address employee performance concerns and administer corrective action when necessary.
• Assist crews in the field as needed to meet operational demands, deadlines, or customer expectations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring high-quality service and professional communication.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) and company software systems to track work, schedules, and customer information.
• Collaborate with branch leadership and other departments to support company goals and operational efficiency.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Represent United Land Services in a professional, courteous, and positive manner at all times.
