Job summary

Odyssey Logistics in Vandalia, IL is seeking a Receiving Specialist II to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for receiving, verifying, documenting, and maintaining accurate records of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against manifests and orders.

You will enter data into SAP or WhiBoard and the P21 system, generate shipping and receiving documents, and help maintain inventory integrity while adhering to safety standards in a warehouse/production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• GMP/HACCP knowledge a plus.
• Barcode scanner knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify contents against manifests, invoices, and orders.
• Inspect products for damage; photograph damaged materials when necessary.
• Enter received materials into SAP or WhiBoard and the P21 system; maintain records.
• Prepare and file shipping/receiving documents and record shipment details.
• Print and apply labels; use barcode scanners to process shipments; follow safety procedures.
