Job summary

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Vandalia, IL. This onsite role focuses on coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate shipment statuses.

You will communicate with customers, carriers, and warehouse staff, supporting a busy LTL operation. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous shipping/logistics or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Ability to type approximately 50 words per minute.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound customer shipments using the load board.
• Process orders and coordinate bookings; verify pickups and deliveries; update shipment statuses.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for inbound/outbound inventory; ensure accuracy before shipment.
