Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience as a pharmacy technician.
• CPhT certification is required or state-appropriate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer names, addresses, billing info, product numbers into the order entry system.
• Verify and enter physician information into the system.
• Enter new medication orders and refills.
• Triage and distribute orders from document imaging software.
• Respond to customer complaints or issues.
• Escalate concerns to the Order Entry Supervisor.
• Review and verify order details against records.
• Assist departments in preparing and shipping orders.
• Evaluate inventory records to determine medication availability.
• Review orders for completeness and forward incomplete orders.
• Answer phone calls and provide customer service solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
