Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Editing & Entering Clerk to support the Motive Power team. This role handles reviewing, processing, and entering battery and parts orders into the configurator system, ensuring accuracy throughout the order fulfillment process.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Customer Service, Traffic, COS, and Assembly to maintain high standards of quality and organization while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Strong computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to research issues and resolve discrepancies; strong problem-solving.
• Good verbal and written communication; telephone etiquette.
• Exceptional attention to detail; strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills; experience with a 10-key calculator.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately, including pricing, product information, and account details.
• Process Motive Power battery and parts orders in the configurator system.
• Select appropriate product options based on customer specifications.
• Proofread orders for accuracy before entry.
• Research and resolve discrepancies before processing orders.
• Prepare and reconcile paperwork with plant documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper document retention.
