Job summary

First Security Bank is seeking a Loan Processor to support eight Kansas branches, including Wichita. The role handles loan administration and document preparation under the supervision of the Loan Services Officer.

Responsibilities include processing loans in ARTA, booking loans, uploading and coding documents, pulling credit reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance with privacy standards. Strong attention to detail and prior banking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year experience in teller, secretarial or loan clerk roles; or equivalent training/experience.
• Ability to work with Windows-based software and bank applications; basic computer and calculator skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of customer information.

Responsibilities

• Process loans using ARTA; enter information to prepare loan documents.
• Book loans after closing; record to general ledger; deposit loan proceeds.
• Upload loans to core system and code fields for uploads.
• Verify document accuracy and readiness for scanning; image loan docs.
• Provide QC of scanned documents via QC process.
• Prepare UCC documents, new filings, and maintain continuation of UCC files.
• Pull credit bureau reports; prepare and submit paperwork for specific loan programs.
• Assist Officers to clear exceptions; update reports and communicate with customers.
