Job summary

Pure Water Tech of Chicagoland is seeking a Bookkeeper to enter, process, and record a high volume of accounts receivable transactions, as well as accounts payable. You will deposit and balance daily transactions for multiple accounts, follow up on collections, and be the customer and vendor contact for billing.

The ideal candidate is quick to learn, highly organized, and meticulous, with extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bookkeeper, AP/AR required
• Experienced in QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data and high volume of daily transactions
• Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
• Balance and maintain accurate books
• Analyze budgets and other financial information
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Pay monthly sales tax
