Job summary

NEBCO, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to support general financial operations. The role focuses on processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly closings in a high-volume environment.

You will back up accounts receivable duties, respond to inquiries, and help prepare reports and analyses to ensure accurate financial records for multiple company groups.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Three years of accounts payable and receivables, preferably in high volume Accounting office; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices for payment and match to purchase orders.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and statements.
• Assist in monthly closings and ad hoc accounting tasks.
• Handle accounts receivable duties as needed.
• Prepare monthly business reports.
