Job summary

Action Inc. is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations under the CFO. This full-time, non-exempt role involves accounts payable, credit-card transactions, deposits, reconciliations, and audit support in Southwest Montana.

The ideal candidate will have accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support CFO and Accounting team in maintaining accurate financial operations.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and checks.
• Enter and reconcile credit-card transactions and statements.
• Assist with bank deposits and cash receipts and entry into the accounting system.
• Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Support annual external audit by compiling requested documentation.
• Maintain confidential financial records and perform related duties.
