Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accountant to strengthen general ledger processes, close activities, and financial reporting. You will own key accounting functions, partner across departments, and drive process improvements in a growth‑oriented environment.

Ideal candidates have a solid accounting foundation with 2–5 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems. This role offers mentorship, exposure to diverse accounting functions, and opportunities for long‑term

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger and account reconciliation experience.
• Understanding of GAAP and basic financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience working within an ERP system.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accurate reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze account activity and explain fluctuations and variances.
• Assist with audits and compliance requests.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate data.
