Our client, Vaco by Highspring, is seeking two Senior Accountants to join their accounting team in a hands-on role focused on general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, GAAP, and fixed assets. You will collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 4-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong Excel and ERP skills, including Oracle Cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 4-8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with GL, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting.
• ERP experience required; Oracle Cloud Fusion experience is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close.
• Perform fixed asset accounting and related reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting activity complies with GAAP.
• Analyze account balances and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare schedules and reports for management and audit support.
• Assist with process improvements and other accounting projects.
• Partner closely with the Controller and accounting team.
