Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research or resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare invoices and supporting documentation for payment.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
• Assist with collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
• Research and resolve customer billing or account discrepancies.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Enter and maintain accounting information in Sage and other company systems.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support payroll, audits, reconciliations, and special accounting projects as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Follow established company accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
