• 2+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing or underwriting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize a pipeline of loans based on closing date and lock expiration.
• Meet all closing dates.
• Communicate with borrower and Realtor to obtain documents and answer questions.
• Review and validate loan documentation for each loan file.
• Investigate and resolve issues that may arise.
• Verify loan packages for accuracy and underwriting conditions.
• Submit loans to underwriting for approval and clear to close.
• Maintain confidentiality with third parties.
• Review underwriting conditions and complete them.
• Submit a loan file to the closing department to request and approve closing disclosures.
• Provide final closing numbers to the borrower prior to closing.
• Coordinate with title company, Realtor, and borrower to schedule the closing date.
• Escalate issues to the Loan Officer/Processing Manager when needed.
• Stay up to date on Neighborhood Loans and Treadstone Funding policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
