Job summary

Ecolab in Minnesota seeks a technical service associate to coordinate customer scheduling via outbound calls and provide frontline telephone support for equipment installation and sanitation issues.

You will handle basic programming and calibration on automated controllers, learn about pumps, filters, and dispensing equipment, and collaborate with Technical Service to update part numbers and specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires a two-year degree in a related field.
• Requires 1+ years of experience in a mechanical/electrical trade or technical service call center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer scheduling through outbound calls.
• Provide frontline telephone technical support.
• Answer basic technical questions on installation, product application, cleaning and sanitation.
• Perform basic programming and calibrations on automated controllers.
• Develop knowledge of pool pumps, filters, and circulation systems.
• Provide part numbers and recommendations for dispensing equipment and dish-machine parts.
• Communicate with Technical Service on part numbers and specifications changes.
• Learn and use Ecolab software systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.
