Job summary

Ecolab in the United States is seeking an adaptable technical service representative to coordinate customer scheduling via outbound calls and collaborate with other departments to triage issues and arrange schedule changes.

You will provide frontline telephone support, answer basic questions on equipment installation, product application, and sanitation problems, and perform basic programming and chemical calibrations on automated controllers.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in a related field.
• 1+ year of work experience in a mechanical/electrical trade or technical service call center.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates customer scheduling through outbound calls and partners with other departments to triage calls and schedule changes.
• Provides frontline telephone technical support on basic equipment installation, product application, and cleaning and sanitation problems.
• Performs basic programming and chemical calibrations on automated controllers.
• Develops basic knowledge of pool pumps, filters, and circulation systems.
• Develops basic knowledge of dispensing equipment and dishmachine parts to make part recommendations and provide part numbers.
• Communicates with Technical Service staff on part numbers or equipment part number changes.
• Develops basic knowledge of Ecolab proprietary and commercially available software systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.

• Develops basic technical knowledge of available dispensing equipment and dishmachine parts to make part recommendations and provide part numbers.
• Communicates with Technical Service staff on part number or equipment part number and specification changes.
• Develops basic knowledge of Ecolab proprietary and commercially available software systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.
