Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for hardware and software.
• Install and configure network devices and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot network printing/scanning devices.
• Activate data drops and network connections in telecom closets.
• Assist in relocating employees and activating data drops in new location.
• Troubleshoot LAN issues (Duplex mismatches, IP conflicts, firewall/proxy issues).
• Set up and configure Personal Computers.

What You'll Do

• Perform a variety of duties in support of end users for Information Technology (IT) hardware and software.
• Basic technical certification, hardware repair, component level knowledge, operation systems (Windows, Unix/Linux, and application knowledge, troubleshooting techniques
• Install and configure network devices (network printers, scanners, plotters, Personal Computers).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
• Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets aka network connect (activation of data drops).
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees on the facility (move Personal Computers and activate data drops in new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with Personal Computers and Local Area Network (LAN) (duplex mismatches, duplicate Internet Protocols, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues)
• Set up and configure Personal Computer's

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with deploying assets, troubleshooting, and Personal Computer refreshes
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience consisting of hardware repair
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience consisting of operation systems such as Windows
