Job summary

A3 Staffing Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Charleroi, PA to support PC hardware and software at client sites during a contract-to-hire engagement. The role focuses on rapid hardware fixes, imaging, asset control, and inventory updates to boost daily output.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with desktop and laptop hardware, can securely wipe drives, apply standard OS images, and repair Dell laptops.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience supporting PC hardware and software.
• 5+ years in laptop and desktop hardware support.
• A+ certification preferred but not required.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the onsite support team with hardware break-fix, asset management, receiving, and imaging.
• Coordinate assets, securely wipe drives, and apply standard OS images.
• Repair and refurbish Dell laptops, and update inventory records.

• Candidates should have 3-6 years’ experience supporting PC Hardware and software.
• Assist the existing onsite support team with hardware break-fix, asset management, receiving, and imaging activities at a client site.
• The purpose is to enable the team to double their daily output for this short period.
• Daily tasks will include asset coordination, securely wiping hard drives, and applying standard OS images.
• Also, will be repairing/refurbishing Dell laptops and updating inventory records.
• This person needs to have at least 5 years of experience supporting laptop and desktop hardware.
• A+ certification is preferred but not required.
• Accuracy & attention to detail
• Good troubleshooting ability
