Job summary

3MD Inc. in Redmond, WA, seeks a Desktop Support Technician to join a team delivering technical support and deployment services for diverse client projects. You will handle deployments, OS upgrades, hardware installs, imaging, and basic configurations.

The role requires strong Windows desktop support skills, MS Office proficiency, and excellent customer service. Occasional travel to sites in Seattle area and nationwide may be required; shifts vary with project needs; hospital environment

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Windows desktop/laptop support in enterprise environments.
• Strong MS Office knowledge and software setup/troubleshooting.
• Experience with hardware moves, deployments, and imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and move hardware; perform OS upgrades.
• Install hardware, cabling, data transfer, imaging, and disposal prep.
• Provide hardware/software support and issue resolution for end users.
• Remote and desk-side support, including remote control of devices.
• Troubleshoot desktops to work with network drives and apps.
• Work independently, follow escalation policies.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and project rollout.
• Short-term projects include moves and deployments; some travel.
• May travel to sites statewide or nationwide.
