Symphony Risk Solutions, LLC is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist colleagues by installing, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software. You will help end users resolve issues and provide clear technical guidance, including remote troubleshooting when needed.

This is an in-office role at our Richardson, TX location with potential for hybrid work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Office 365, Windows environments and VOIP systems, strong problem‑solving skills,

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Technician.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows and VOIP systems.
• Knowledge of office automation products like printers and scanners.
• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Client-oriented attitude.
• BS in Computer Science or relevant field or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of AMS 360/ImageRight - Vertafore products a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Address user requests regarding hardware, software and networking
• Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
• Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
• Conduct remote troubleshooting
• Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
• Follow up with colleagues to ensure their systems are functional
• Assist with preparing all necessary assets for new hires
• Help create technical documentation and manuals
