ITAC is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to maintain and support in-house desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. You will diagnose issues, manage tickets, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.

The role requires 2–4 years of desktop support experience, strong Windows 10/Server knowledge, and familiarity with Microsoft 365. Occasional travel and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in desktop support.
• Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008–16.
• Fair knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user computers and devices.
• Use ITAC help desk software for tracking issues.
• Provide support to staff on computer operation issues.
• Maintain an inventory of PCs, monitors, and other peripherals.
• Respond to tickets and emails regarding hardware and software.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
• On-site diagnosis and resolution of PC problems.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams.
• Prepare documentation on hardware repair and installation.
• Keep ticket status updated.
• Travel occasionally.
