Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Desktop Support specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance at the client site in Eagan, MN. The role involves supporting hardware, software, A/V equipment, and network cabling, with a focus on end-user and executive support.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree (A+ strongly preferred) and 2–4+ years of enterprise IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across multiple sites. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
• A/V equipment support.
• Network closet cabling maintenance.
• Recommend hardware improvements.
• Track customer issues and resolutions.
• Handle tickets in a timely manner.
• Work independently or with managers or other techs.
• Provide regular feedback to improve team performance.
• Be able to work overtime when requested or necessary.
• Multitask and prioritize multiple projects across sites.
