Job summary

A3 Solutions, Inc. in Buffalo, NY seeks a Desktop Support Technician for 100% onsite assistance. You will provide end-user support for Windows OS and Microsoft Office in a corporate environment, performing imaging, software updates, and hardware setup.

You will troubleshoot, repair desktops and laptops, assist with IMACs, manage user accounts and security groups, and deliver strong customer service while collaborating with Desk Side Support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience providing Windows OS and Office support in enterprise environments.
• Imaging, deployment and recovery of desktops/laptops.
• Ability to setup, configure and replace hardware and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows OS/Microsoft Office in an enterprise environment with direct end-user interaction.
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Provide desktop and network support and remote access as needed.
• Setup, configure and add all hardware; assist with large IMACs.
• Document, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
• Manage user accounts including rights, security and groups.
• Train employees; diagnose and repair product failures; order/replace parts.
• Imaging and imaging recovery; support WiFi and VPN and wireless devices.

Job Details:

• 8-5 Monday-Friday, no on call.
• Support of Windows OS/Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Desktop and Network Support.
• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
• Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC’s.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
• Imaging and image recovery.
• Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops.
• Install / Re-install various software packages and updates.
• WiFi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices.
• GREAT Customer Service skills.
