A3 Solutions, Inc. in Alaska is seeking a Desktop & Imaging Specialist to install and support hardware, software, and AV equipment for corporate events and daily operations.

You will configure desktops and laptops, assist with VPN and Wi‑Fi connectivity, train users, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs while maintaining inventory and documenting procedures for a smooth, reliable enterprise IT environment.

Formación

• Experience repairing desktops and laptops.
• Familiarity with Windows 11 and Office Suite.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to document procedures and maintain inventory.

Responsabilidades

• Transport, install, and support AV equipment and racks.
• Set up electrical wiring, programming, and construction per diagrams.
• Develop relationships with clients to keep production moving.
• Test videos and audio, troubleshoot issues.
• Manage equipment inventory and generate expense reports.
• Support Windows 11 / Microsoft Office in an enterprise environment.
• Maintain and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
• Assist with hardware configuration and software upgrades.

Desktop & Responsibilities:

• Transporting, setting up, and installing media equipment and audiovisual support tools, including speakers, monitors, cameras, and equipment racks.
• Setting up and performing electrical wiring, programming, and basic construction according to layout diagrams and schedules.
• Developing good relationships with clients to keep production moving and to help out production or event coordinators.
• Running tests on videos, audio, and signals and troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Meeting clients' standards by handling equipment malfunctions and executing a flawless event.
• Disassembling equipment, wiring, and support tools in a safe manner.
• Performing inventory management on equipment, wiring, and accessories.
• Carrying out any cleaning, maintenance, or repairs on audiovisual equipment.
• Generating expense reports for management.
• Support of Windows OS 11 /Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.

Desktop and Network Support:

• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
• Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC’s.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

Imaging and image recovery:

• Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops.
• Install / Re-install various software packages and updates.
• Wi-Fi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices.
• GREAT Customer Service skills.
