Job summary

A3 Staffing Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a backfill opportunity. This 100% onsite, contract-to-hire role operates Monday–Friday, 8–5, with no on-call duties.

Responsibilities include Windows OS/Microsoft Office support in an enterprise setting, hardware setup, imaging/recovery, and strong end-user service. Ideal candidates will troubleshoot, assist with large IMACs, manage user accounts, and maintain hardware/software.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows OS in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to install/configure hardware and peripherals.
• Imaging and image recovery experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and network support in an enterprise environment.

• 8-5 Monday-Friday, no on call


• Support of Windows OS/Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.


• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.


• Desktop and Network Support


• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.


• Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC’s.


• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.


• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.


• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.


• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.


• Imaging and image recovery


• Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops


• Install / Re-install various software packages and updates


• WiFi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices


• GREAT Customer Service skills
