Job summary

A3 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a direct hire, 100% on-site role in Utah. The position runs 8:00–17:00, Monday through Friday, with no on-call requirements.

You will primarily support Windows OS and Microsoft Office in an enterprise setting, and assist with hardware, imaging, VPN/WiFi, and end-user services. You will configure and upgrade desktops, maintain user accounts and security groups, and ensure high-quality customer service and fast issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office in an enterprise environment.
• Strong end-user customer service skills and clear communication.
• On-site desktop and network support experience.
• Ability to install and configure hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% on-site desktop support for Windows OS and Office.
• Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, hardware and peripherals.
• Imaging, imaging recovery, and software deployment.
• Configure hardware, set up devices, and manage user accounts and security groups.
• Assist with IMACs and desk-side support for corporate users.
• Deliver excellent customer service and rapid problem resolution.

Job Details:

• 8-5 Monday-Friday, no on call.
• Support of Windows OS/Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Desktop and Network Support.
• Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
• Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMAC's.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
• Imaging and image recovery.
• Experience doing break / fix repairs on desktops, laptops.
• Install / Re-install various software packages and updates.
• WiFi and VPN connections; Support of wireless devices.
• GREAT Customer Service skills.
