Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support for hardware, software, and peripherals
• Install, configure, image, and deploy Windows 10 PCs using SCCM
• Troubleshoot Windows 10, Office, and Microsoft 365 (O365) issues
• Perform hardware installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance
• Manage and resolve support tickets with strong customer service
• Support walk-up kiosk requests and end-user issues
• Assist with vending machine and locker inventory resupply
• Escalate complex technical issues as needed
• Lift and transport equipment up to 40 pounds

We're hiring a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands‑on technical support for end users in a corporate environment. This is a 12+ month contract with a strong likelihood of converting to a full‑time position. You'll support desktop hardware, software, Windows environments, and end users while delivering excellent customer service.

This position is 100% onsite in Rocky Mount, NC 27804, working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues
• Install, configure, image, and deploy Windows 10 desktops and laptops using SCCM
• Troubleshoot Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365 (O365) issues
• Perform hardware installations, upgrades, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Manage and resolve support tickets while providing excellent customer service
• Support walk-up kiosk requests and end-user technical issues
• Assist with vending machine and locker inventory resupply
• Escalate complex technical issues when needed
• Lift and transport equipment weighing up to 40 pounds

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Desktop Support, Field Support, or IT Support experience
• Experience supporting Windows 10 environments
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 (O365)
• Experience imaging and deploying PCs and laptops using SCCM
