Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Technician for a 3-month contract in Rutland, VT 05759.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Contract Duration: 3 months

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of related desktop and/or deskside support experience
• Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products, including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting skills, PC imaging and deployment, and IMAC experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• A+ Certification is a plus

What You Will Be Doing

• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
• Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed.
• Resolve network connection issues by tracking connections back to network switches.
• Escalate problems to higher support levels if unable to resolve.
• Represent our client professionally and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Interact with customers, responding to routine technical questions or requests for information.
