Job Description

We are seeking a self-starting Field Service Technician to deliver excellent customer service. The goal is to drive service success that enhances customer satisfaction, maximizes retention, and increases profitability.

The Technical Customer Experience Manager will oversee the following responsibilities :

  • Coordinate between Customer Experience, Sales, Systems Integration, CMSO, and the Product Group to meet customer needs.
  • Serve as a key contact during deployment and post-deployment phases.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordination among teams and troubleshoot system failures related to hardware, network, or software issues.
  • Diagnose technical problems and determine solutions.
  • Provide high-level training to administrators and end-users on product and system configuration.
  • Supervise third-party installers of mobile video devices like BWC and ICV.
  • Facilitate communication of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Assist in deployment configurations and support handoff.
  • Produce detailed service reports with customer approval.
  • Follow all procedures and protocols.
  • Share information across technical teams and build positive customer relationships.
  • Identify systemic issues and collaborate on process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in Electronics Technician, System Technologist, System Manager, Field Service, or IT roles.
  • Experience with Windows, networking, TCP / IP, Wi-Fi, IP device configuration, and troubleshooting hardware / software.
  • Law Enforcement environment experience is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to train and demonstrate hardware / software capabilities.
  • Project management experience for installations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Ability to develop cross-organizational relationships and work in a matrix environment.

This role requires working in high-security areas under CJIS Security Policy and passing a background check.

Location & Travel

Remote position with in-region travel (25-50%).
