- Experience in Desktop Support / End User Support Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, OneNote, Excel, and Visio
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software. Provide customer service and end-user training.
- Perform advanced administrative, operational, and customer support duties requiring independent judgment.
- Research and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first-line support.
- Respond to escalated requests via phone, email, and online. Document, track, and monitor issues using applicable systems. Make decisions on methods and processes for administrative tasks.
- Exercise discretion in prioritizing requests and adapting procedures, working under limited guidance based on experience and organizational knowledge.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support end-user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets).
- Manage system software related to End-User and Distributed Computing Services.
- Provide deskside support as needed, including incident resolution and service requests.
- Dispatch and monitor hardware repairs, including third-party vendor services.
- Follow documented procedures and regulations for hardware and software support.
- Track inventory of software and hardware per asset management processes.
