Polsinelli is hiring a Desktop Support Technician in our Denver office. This is an on-site position, five days a week. The role requires excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person. The candidate must be service-oriented, able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, including upper management, with strong written and verbal skills. The candidate should be a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team, with ownership of their responsibilities. Proactivity, anticipation of issues, and problem resolution under pressure are essential. The focus is on high-level customer service within technical support.

Essential Duties
  1. Providing excellent IT support for the regional office, including answering calls, emails, walk-ups, and resolving open tickets.
  2. Tracking all support activities through the IT department’s system.
  3. Maintaining communication with end-users, keeping them informed of issue resolution status.
  4. Identifying issues needing additional support and escalating as necessary.
  5. Tracking and maintaining inventory of IT equipment.
  6. Reimaging computers and performing repairs.
  7. Managing new hire setups, including equipment ordering and configuration.
  8. Acting as a point of contact for outside IT vendors and office equipment providers.
  9. Participating in the demonstration, testing, configuration, and training of new technology.
  10. Identifying opportunities to improve, automate, or simplify processes or systems.
  11. Participating in a rotating on-call schedule, including after-hours and weekends.
  12. Developing proficiency with software and hardware in use.
  13. Researching and resolving complex technical issues independently.
  14. Providing premier customer support as part of the IT support team.
  15. Visiting remote offices as needed for onsite support and inventory tasks.
  16. Performing other tasks and projects as assigned.
Additional Duties
  1. Serving as a backup to Help Desk Analysts when needed.
  2. Maintaining inventory records accurately.
  3. Assisting with local network device installations.
  4. Occasional travel to other offices.
  5. Occasional overtime work.
Experience/Skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and handle interruptions with flexibility.
  • Effective communication with diverse personalities in a professional manner.
  • Ability to lift/move computer equipment and boxes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of iManage Work 10.
  • Video conference solutions knowledge is a plus.
  • A+ certification and/or a Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, with two or more years of experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting a law firm is preferred but not required.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
