Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an onsite role in Cincinnati, OH. You will repair, test, image hardware, install, configure and troubleshoot end-user PCs, printers and peripherals, and provide face-to-face support at the client site.

The position requires 3–6+ years of PC hardware/software experience, a customer‑focused mindset, basic networking and the ability to manage multiple tickets and projects independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 6+ years of experience supporting PC Hardware and software.
• Use a Confident, Positive Attitude to deliver great customer experience and to be invigorated by constant personal interaction.
• Basic network troubleshooting plus comfortability to act as smart hands for infrastructure issues.
• Deep understanding of diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing PC/laptop hardware internal components (motherboard, hard drives, RAM, CPU), and understanding of troubleshooting PC software (Windows blue-screen, Outlook, connect network printers) as well.
• Get work done independently, and for attendance for availability to work scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience working in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Back up and burn end user data.
• Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes.
• Assist other coworkers in resolution of end users’ technical issues across the program.
• Assist Site Leader in the execution of established processes and escalations.

Wage Range

The rate for this position is between $18.75 - $25.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
