We are currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

This is an on-site position, Monday-Friday, at the client site.

The Desktop Support technician will be responsible for performing various managed client services for a strategic customer. These services include Windows, IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support, etc. This role combines strong technical skills with an emphasis on delivering a high level of customer service.

This position will be a client-based role working daily at a client site.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  1. Responsible for on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of desktops, notebooks, and associated peripherals.
  2. Windows troubleshooting, diagnosing, imaging/deployment, and software installation.
  3. Serve as the company liaison with the customer on administrative and technical matters.
  4. Provide technical support and incident management service desk functions (ServiceNow).
  5. Review, troubleshoot, and approve operational quality desktops, notebooks, printers, and peripherals (Windows 7, 10, and Mac OS).
  6. Install, maintain, and optimize desktop/notebook configurations at customer sites (Windows 7, 10, 11).
  7. Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
  8. Perform maintenance and repair services (basic break-fix for desktops, laptops).
  9. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of basic Windows.
Basic Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system (or similar).
  2. Support experience with Office 365.
  3. Proficiency in Windows troubleshooting, imaging/deployment, and software installation.
  4. Experience in installation/troubleshooting of software/hardware.
  5. Proven customer service skills.
  6. Ability to follow verbal and written technical instructions and scripts.
  7. A+ certification or equivalent skills.
  8. Availability to receive calls during normal business hours and after hours.
  9. Physical ability to lift and move enterprise and client hardware.
  10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in customer service.
  11. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
